Brick Mansions is an upcoming film directed by Camille Delamarre and written by Luc Besson, Robert Mark Kamen and Bibi Naceri. It is the remake of 2004 French action film District 13. This is one of Paul Walker‘s final film roles before his death on November 30, 2013.
Synopsis
Remake of the Luc Besson (producer of Transporter and Taken) action movie District B13. Walker play an undercover cop who is tasked with going into a tenement named Brick Mansions in order to disarm a neutron bomb possessed by the community’s drug warlord (RZA). They even built a colossal containment wall around the Brick Mansions so that that the city is protected form that area as they are unable to control the crime in this area.
Their paths never should have crossed, but when drug kingpin, Tremaine (RZA) kidnaps Lino’s girlfriend, Damien reluctantly accepts the help of the fearless ex-convict, and together they must stop a sinister plot to devastate the entire city.
With stylized action featuring thrilling Parkour stunts(David Belle is the co-founder of this physical training discipline), Brick Mansions puts an entertaining twist on the action genre.
